Member on the Special Marine Select Committee - 2005; Commerce Select Committee - 2007; Chairman of the Finance and Expenditure Select Committee - 2007.

Service Information:

Businessman - owns and operates with his wife Paula the Maina Traders Superstore and Maina Traders Building Centre in Aitutaki.  The Paradise Cove a tourist accommodation is also owned by Mr. Terepai Maoate Junior.

Mr. Terepai Maoate or better known as Junior Maoate is the first son born to Sir Terepai Maoate, KBE and Lady Marito on the island of Manihiki, in the Northern Group of the Cook Islands on 5th December 1961.  He is married to Paula (nee Sherwin) from Rarotonga and they have four (4) children - Marito (daughter), Tearaia (son), Moana (daughter), and Nooroa (son).
