·          Former Senior Police Officer for 21 years.

·          Director of Corrective Services

·          Chief Executive Officer of the Prime Minister’s Office for 2 and half years.

Attended various parliamentary conferences & ministerial meetings.

Community Services:

Chairman for the Rakahanga Community in Rarotonga;

Former Chairman of the Avatea Primary School and Tereora College, Parents and Teachers Association.

Education:

Attended Aitutaki Junior High School and Tereora College.

Personal:

Mr Piho Rua is married to Iki (nee Ngatoko) and they have two children; Allan (son) and Emma (daughter).
